Melanin Unscripted partnered with Khan Foundation in Makoko, Nigeria to create the first Melanin Unscripted notebook. The MU team designed and donated 5,000 notebooks containing learning exercises, affirmations, and a pledge of confidence to students at three Khan schools in Makoko. Khan Foundation has continued to distribute the remaining notebooks amid COVID-19 related school closures. Rise In Light maintains MU Impact’s dedication to creating impact globally, and when it comes to shaping a better future, we believe uplifting our youth is key.
