OBJECTIVE
Craft a clear, compelling narrative rooted in your personal truth and cultural perspective. Your story should reveal who you are, where you’re from, and what drives your creative voice. This could center on a person, a place, a ritual, a community, or a value you want the world to witness.
DELIVERABLES
JUDGING CRITERIA
Create a 5–7 page treatment that includes:
Story concept
Moodboard
Visual tone
Short narrative summary
Narrative Clarity (25%) – Is the story easy to understand and follow?
Authenticity (25%) – Does it feel honest to you, your lived experience, and your culture?
Cultural Relevance (20%) – Does it speak to a specific community, context, or tradition in a meaningful way?
Visual Cohesion (20%) – Do the visuals, tone, and references feel intentional and aligned?
Overall Impact (10%) – Does the treatment stay with us after we read it?
